On Tuesday, March 18, 2015 four prominent South Floridians deeply committed to issues of social justice—Archbishop Thomas Wenski, Ms. Helen Aguirre Ferré, Ms. Gepsie Metellus, and Ms. Dahlia Walker-Huntington—will offer their views on immigration reform in a panel discussion in the Green Library, Room 220, on the Main Campus of Florida International University, at 2pm.

Though the panel will present a range of perspectives, each panelist has a deep and abiding understanding of this important topic and an unwavering commitment to a just resolution of this vexing issue. After the panelists’ opening statements, audience members will be free to ask questions and comment on what has been said.

This event is free and open to the public and is cosponsored by FIU’s Center for the Humanities in an Urban Environment and Cuba Research Institute.
