£27,000 for a chance to see Bolt in the 100m finals at the Olympics?

WHEN Britain won the competition to stage the 2012 Olympics over five years ago, there was a touch of cynicism. But with the event just 12 months away, Olympic fever is beginning to mount.

The big story here in Britain last week was the millions of people who applied for tickets for the games and have (so far) failed to get any. In particular, at least a million people have applied for tickets to watch Jamaica’s own Usain Bolt compete in the 100m final. Most of them were unlucky. Read more>>
