I know I may be beating a dead horse on my weekly topics about music but I think it is important to highlight how things are changing. When 50 cent released his new CD album he included an accompanying 90-minute movie/film with the package. The thought is that if you buy the pirated version you will not get the movie (it will eventually make it to youtube.com). In a past interview he seems to understand that piracy is there and will adjust to it while still making music. He says they will attend the concert if they like his music they get from a pirated channel. I am not a fan of 50 cents but is he onto something with these strategies.
