Media WriterA dub unit of sound system culture from Jakarta – Indonesia, Yella Sky Sound System will celebrate its 7 years of existence on December 17th This special moment is endowed with the release of a new single hit “Signal From East” in all digital platforms. The project involved Radit Echoman, another local dub act and two young talented singers, Bean Lamen (14) and J.C Junior (11).
The execution process of this reggae-dub single is directly handled by Yella Sky Sound System. Radit Echoman joined in to enrich the space with the strain of his high melodious melodica vibration. The energetic vocal style of the brothers, Bean Lamen and J.C Junior give a positive signal of the regeneration from Eastern Indonesia which at the same time furnishes “Signal From East’ to become just right. The combination of two languages (Bahasa- English) hopefully can be an easy-listening hit song for everyone.
The final touch (mixing and mastering) of “Signal From East” was handled by Echolabs Studio. Meanwhile, the visual was handled by Michael Christian (Director), Robbie Suharlim (D.O.P), Iqbal Surya (Editor) and Dreadock Studio as the spot of the shooting. The video clip will be premiered on December 31 2021 in Yella Sky Sound System Youtube channel.
“Signal From East” marks the upcoming release of Yella Sky Sound System’s 2nd album in 2022. It’s a collaboration of various vocalists and instrumentalists that will become the main theme of this Long-Played (LP) album called “Hybrid And Various”.
