Singer Anthony Malvo who rose to fame in the 1980’s with singles “Come Back To Me,” featuring Tiger, “Greatest Gal Lover,” featuring Daddy Lizard, “Can You Stop The Rain,” “Ready Or Not,” and “Sensi,” featuring Josie Wales has teamed with Sizzla on a brand new song titled Cyaan Draw Mi Out.
The song which was recorded at Sizzla’s studio in August Town was produced and written by Malvo. “I had this song in my head for a while, so I decided to link up Sizzla because I thought he was the best person for the song. I went to his house and before you know it, we recorded the song. I’m hoping that it will open new opportunities for me and in the process become a big hit” he said.
Malvo disclosed that he is currently in Atlanta recording and doing promotions for the song. In 2003 – 2004 he released a compilation of hits titled, “The Best of Anthony Malvo 80’s and 90’s,” that was released through VP Records. It became a huge success in North America, Japan and European. Aside from his own solo recordings, Malvo has done a lot of production work with some of the biggest stars in reggae. In 2004, he released a rhythm compilation titled,“Hot Gal,” on the Real Music Label in conjunction with VP records as part of their Riddim Driven series. This included hits featuring Brian & Tony Gold, Bounty Killer, Capleton, Sizzla, featuring Gigsy King, Lexxus, Vybes Kartel, Anthony B, Wayne Wonder, Daville, Lukie D and Round Head. In 2006 he released the “Sit Dun Pon it” rhythm featuring Capleton, Pinchers, Vybz Kartel, Luciano, Blessed, Shinehead and Anthony B.
Malvo is currently working on his new album titled, “Stronger” which he is hoping to release later this year. He has also kept up with performing on stage in night clubs and small venue’s here in the USA and Canada. He recently returned to Jamaica from Canada where he was living for the past few years. Anthony Malvo is back again to engage his fans with his tantalizing voice and his real music.
