MORE INFO: The 8th Annual Palm Beach Jerk & Caribbean Culture Festival will be held, rain or shine, on May 30th, 2011 at the Meyer Amphitheatre in Downtown West Palm Beach. It’s a family affair so bring the kids, the grand-kids, the parents, the grand-parents, the aunt, the uncles, the cousins… you get the drift, just bring EVERYBODY!
There will be lots of activities to keep everyone entertained for the whole day. Kids can spend the day …in the playground, jumping in the bounce houses, getting their faces painted, and just plain out being kids and having fun. Don’t worry, we’ve got the grown-ups covered too. If you think you’re the best domino player around then come test your skills in the Domino Tournament, same thing goes for the dancers in the Dance off. Oh wait, do you smell that? Food, food, and more food. Come enjoy the best that Jerk has to offer, and for those who can’t take the spiciness there will be tons of other dishes to satisfy your taste buds. We’ve even got a show to top it all off. Come enjoy the sensual vocals of Wayne Wonder, the lyrical dexterity of Assassin, and the harmonies of the Fab 5 Band. Music also provided by the immortal Stone Love straight from Jamaica, the remix kings Black Chiney, and the vibe masters HMV (High-grade Musical Vybez).
