A Fashion Affair Inc Press Release 2012

In 2005 when Norma Jean Martin hosted the first Caribbean fashion show in Atlanta, it seemed like a huge task to pull the logistics of everything and everyone involved to this pivotal point. Seven years later and with a team of strong, determine and fashion forward ladies and gentlemen, we are hosting Fashion Cabaret 2012 at the very venue we started at and with some of the original team members. Each year we introduce you to something new but we try to maintain the core entertainment elements of the show. It is always going to be a fashion cabaret show because from the growth in attendance over the year, it is clear to see that our audience loves what we are giving them.

The show originally featured designers and models from the Caribbean and the United States. Our stage has hosted the title winner for Miss Jamaica World each year since we started. We have hosted Miss Georgia pageant winners as well as Miss Earth Caribbean and male title winners in runway to body building. Our guests have included local and international performing artists as well as celebrity guests. We are truly excited this year to include Miss Jamaica World 2010 and Harvard law graduate, Ms. Chantal Raymond to our show, we are excited to have all the way from Abuja, Nigeria, the lovely CCQ -2010 queen and model, Ms. Adaeze Pricilla Eluke and performing artist from Mo-Bay Jamaica, Ms. Alicia Flemmings. Representing our male models this year is Orraine Barrett a truly accomplished male model out of New York City and Danny Kelley from Atlanta Georgia. You will never see a show like this one in Georgia.

As out title this year suggests, we are celebrating two things: Jamaica, with its 50th year of independence and Nigeria, as represented in its style and culture. This year’s show will be produced by Mark McDermoth and Karl Williams from Jamaica and will leave you speechless. Come join us as we share the richness of this event in the city that embraces and promotes cultural diversity among all people. Our event will feature the following designers:
