Ce’Cile Satisfies Waiting Fans With New Album

“I know that the fans will appreciate the good work that was done on this album and sing along to their favourite tracks” – Ce’Cile

Coming off an immensely successful 2008, Bad Gyal Ce’Cile has released her latest album dubbed Waiting. The Danger Zone/SoBe Entertainment artiste is no stranger to dancehall and reggae but with Waiting fans can expect an evolution of the singer. The Waiting album is the debut album for Ce’Cile in the North American and Caribbean region.

The album contains 15 tracks with an eclectic mix of songs never before heard and others which have been previously released as singles. Favourites such as Ride or Die on the Journeys riddim produced by Ce’Cile herself and Hot Like We on the hot Red Alert Riddim are included on the anthem laced album. There are also other popular tracks such as Worth It, Talk Talk, Goody, Faking all of which have dominated reggae charts in the past year.

The Waiting album has several new treats, such as So Fly featuring Beenie Man where Ce’Cile teamed up with renowned producer Scot Storch. Storch is known for his wicked instrumentals and is credited with hits such as Lean Back by Fat Joe, Candy Shop and Just a Lil’ Bit by 50 Cent.   Other exclusive tracks include Kinda lovin, Burning Up, No Disturb Sign, Dance featuring Ding Dong, and Don’t Go.

Also of significance is the title track which was written and produced by Ce’Cile and also the remix of Waiting which features diamond selling Jamaican DeeJay Shaggy.

Commenting on the fact that she is credited with writing and producing most of the tracks on the album, Ce’Cile is proud her long experience as a producer: “I have been producing since the start of my career; I even co-produced my first big hit Changes with ‘Skatta’ at King of Kings.

“I like to have an intense contribution on what I do and I am very serious about my work as my fans would expect no less. Over the years I have tried to ensure that the quality of the music I release is of an international standard and appeals to the fans that have stuck with me for so long both in Jamaica and abroad.

“Waiting has been long in coming and is a labour of love. I know that the fans will appreciate the good work that was done on this album and sing along to their favourite tracks.”

Waiting features productions credits from renowned producers such as Kirkledove Bennett, Big Yard, Cordell ‘Skatta’ Burrell, Steelie & Cleevie, Lloyd “Baby G” James, Scot Storch and several other top producers.
