Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum is running for Governor with the support and trust of Florida’s Caribbean community. As Governor, he promises to fight for everyday working people and be a true friend to the Caribbean community.
Gillum grew up in Miami as the son of a bus driver and construction worker, he was taught in public schools and was the first in his family to graduate high school and college.
As Governor, Andrew Gillum will fight to make sure that Caribbean-Americans have access to affordable healthcare, good-paying jobs, great public schools for our kids, and that our countrymen are treated with dignity by the State.
Many leaders in the community trust and support Andrew Gillum. He has been endorsed by Commissioner Mack Bernard of Palm Beach County, Councilperson Philippe Bien-Aime of North Miami, Commissioner Dale Holness of Broward County, Mayor Hazelle Rogers of Lauderdale Lakes, Mayor Wayne Messam of Miramar and many others.
