Answering ‘The Exposure Call’ With The INDIGGO Conference Kingston

Creativity has and will always be why Jamaica’s greatest resource is its people. With that said, there is a need for platforms that aim to engage the growing creative community and help them establish their place within the society. The INDIGGO Conference seeks to fulfill this need by creating a space where up and coming (and even) established creatives can equip themselves with the necessary tools to navigate their way through the industry. The conference was conceptualized by young creative and entertainment professional, Jamila Pinto who, together with her team executed the first of its kind early last year. The conference returns for its second staging and will maintain its function of acting as a medium through which young creatives can network with key industry players and tastemakers. It also aims to ‘spark the conversation’ between corporate stakeholders and creatives, which will lead to gainful opportunities.
