Getting to Jamaica is now a breeze with the launch of Apple Vacations’ nonstop service to Montego Bay (MBJ) from Capital Region International Airport (LAN) in Lansing, MI, on December 26, 2010. The four-hour flight from Lansing, MI, to Jamaica will operate on Sundays through April 24, 2011.
On hand to celebrate the launch were (from left to right): Ron Mesquita, Jamaica Tourist Board’s Sr. Business Development Manager for Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and W. Pennsylvania; Nicole Noll-Williams, Director of Regional Market Development for the Capital Region Airport Authority; and Liz Andrews, Manager of Fly Lansing Concierge Travel Center.
The new service offers departure from LAN at 7:00 a.m., with a 10:55 a.m. arrival at MBJ. The return flight departs MBJ at 11:50 a.m., arriving LAN at 3:50 p.m. Apple Vacations flies SunCountry Airlines, using B737-800 aircraft configured with 162 seats.
