As Efforts to Rebuild & Revitalize this Epicenter of Arts & Culture Continue

WHO: The Atlanta Caribbean Carnival Bandleaders Association, the official organizers of the Atlanta Caribbean Carnival, along with 15,000 plus Carnival enthusiasts from multi-cultural backgrounds.

WHAT: The 20th Annual Atlanta Caribbean Carnival, themed “Unity through Diversity.” A festive celebration of the eclectic Caribbean culture, suitable for the entire family.

In addition to diverse local, national and international audiences coming together to revel in this festival of ethnic and cultural communities, the Atlanta Carnival will also encompass entertaining performances, tantalizing foods and engaging displays of Caribbean arts and culture.

WHEN: Saturday, May 24, 2008 from 11-10 PM

WHERE: Downtown Atlanta, Georgia – with the parade of bands beginning in front of the MARTA station on West Peachtree Avenue, marching through Peachtree Street, and ending at the historic Auburn Avenue with ongoing festivities (Between Jesse Hill Jr. Dr and Hilliard St.).
