Hi Beloved Servants of God:
Thank you once again for coming together on August 1st to pray and fast for our beloved island nation of Jamaica. Although they helped us to plan, a fair number of pastors and church members were not in attendance because they were away on assignment, personal commitments, or conferences. Special mention in this category go out to Bishop Herro Blair; Pastor Roy Campbell; Pastor Dale McBean; Pastor Easton Gobourne; Pastor Mark Butler, and of course Sister Joan Myers, who was so integral in putting the program together for us.

We want to thank our Host Pastor Ronald Benjamin of the Metro West of the Nazarene, and the Metro West Praise Team, musicians and engineering personnel. Special thanks to Bro. Daniel, Bro. Vittel Smart, and to Sister Stacey who rendered a wonderful solo song of prayer.

A great vote of thanks to Mrs. Karen Lee Fatt for a wonderful reading of our scriptural text. And of course, our praying clergy members lead us fully into the presence of the God who hears and answers the prayers of His people.

Many thanks especially to the wonderful men and women, who made the sacrifice to fast, pray and attend the First Annual Diaspora Day of Prayer and Fasting for the Spiritual Transformation of Jamaica, with a particular mention to Orley Burey, who is running for Circuit Court Judge, Ninth Judicial Circuit, Group 30; Sandy Isaacs of Breakaway Moments & Journey of Joy Events; the Jamaican Cultural Connection; the Jamaican American Association of Central Florida; and all of the other notable people in attendance.

The Lord declared His covenant saying [2 Chr. 7:14] 14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Because the Word of the God is faithful and sure, we fully expect to see the Mighty Healing, Delivering, Protecting, and Guiding Hand of the Lord at work in Jamaica, in our local communities and ministries, and in our own lives. Please mark your calendars for August 1st 2015!
