New York City is all set and ready to sing and shout as the much-anticipated “Singers In Action” – Love Within the Music Tour 2011 Concert  rolls into town at Hammerstein Ballroom.  People of all ages will be lining up for this heart stopping event.

On Thursday, August 11th,2011 , the world renowned, ever popular and lovers rocker himself, the legendary Beres Hammond returns to the tri-state area where he performed to sold-out, standing room only audience at his previous Hammerstein go round.  In an unheralded event never seen for a reggae artist at such landmark venue, Beres Hammond filled the venue to capacity. This year’s concert will be bigger and better with the addition of reggae superstars Sanchez and Wayne Wonder.

Beres Hammonds’ uncanny musical ability over the years has enabled him to appeal and sustain both the young and older audience.  Normally leaving them awing and clamoring for more of his rock steady melodies such as, “sweetness”, “love from a distance and recent chart topping singles, “they gotta talk”, “rock away”, “double trouble”,  “give it all you’ve got today”, “angel eyes” and latest hit  “I feel good”.  This first class event promises to be an evening of pure elegance and utter distinction, one that no one will want to miss.

Sanchez stands as a reputable entertainer whose career began in the early 90’s. His presence on tracks, stage and in music videos always left his fans with feel good reggae vibes. A trip down memory lane with Sanchez will leave you with favorites like “Here I Am”,  “Brown Eye Girl”, Tears on my Pillow”, and “Missing You”.  His sultry voice over tracks like “Feel Good All Over” and “Longing to come home”, and “Amazing Grace,” reminds his listeners that this all-time favorite singer can keep up with time.

The sensual, honeyed vocals of Wayne Wonder have made him a consistent hit maker since the late ’80s.  Wayne became well known for his 1991 cover version of the late Jamaican singer Delroy Wilson’s “I Don’t Know Why” re-titled “Movie Star”.  The same song in combination with Buju Banton, “Bona Fide Love” proved to be a huge success as well remaining a heavily requested tune even today.  Wayne’s other hits include “No letting Go”, I’m Only Human”, “Baby You and I”, “Saddest Day” and many others.
