Jamaican born publicist, Shuzzr, has been making waves in the music industry for the past decade. In a recent Billboard feature celebrating industry executives making waves, they spoke with Shuzzr about his career working in dancehall and representing Jamaica on an international stage.

“Its amazing to see one of the holy grails of music/entertainment publications throwing their weight and support behind you, recognizing the work you have done. It was a historic moment in its right! Every artiste or talent crave to be featured by Billboard and look at me now. While it was a great day for me it was a good day for Jamaica and reggae-dancehall music” Shuzzr adds.

Shuzzr who has worked with the likes of Tifa, RDX, Vershon, Narkoz, Dovey Magnum, Blak Ryno, Lisa Hyper, Gaza Kim, Chosenn, Erup and many more, has also worked with local entertainment spots like Sharkies Seafood & Plantation Smokehouse.

The publicist who attended Calabar High School, then on to Excelsior Community College is a graduate of The College of Brockport, State University of New York with a Bachelor of Science with a major in Communications and minor in Gender and Women studies.

Not daunted by the struggles or obstacles within the industry, Shuzzr has continued to remain relevant and still works with some of reggae-dancehall most talented brands, artiste and producers.
