Staff WriterI know how proud you are of Congresswoman Yvette D. Clarke, who is our voice and face in Washington, D.C. As she ascends to leadership now as the whip for the Congressional Black Caucus for the 111th Congress, it is important that we as a people financially support her.
This is a very historic time for America, and we are fortunate to have on of our own daughters as a member representing us in the 11th Congressional District of Brooklyn. For this reason, we are inviting you to join us at a concert featuring our own “Jazz Legend” Monty Alexander.
Special invited guests include Congress Members Charles Rangel, John Conyers of Michigan, Gregory Meeks, Ed Towns and Anthony Wiener.
There will be a V.I.P. reception and photo op prior to the performance, and we know that you will want to join us.
