On Friday, February 5th, SOBs presents “Bob Marley Day,” a tribute to the great Reggae legend and peace advocate. The Tuff Gong undeniably changed music and the world with his boundless charisma, as well as making Reggae into the musical style that it is today.
In 1991 the Government of Jamaica declared that Bob Marley’s Birthday should be observed as “Bob Marley Day.
SOBs has invited The New Kingston Band, who are Reggae veterans at this young age, and already gain unparalleled praise for their work. Bob Marley Day will feature a movie and film clips about the musical icon.
There will Red Stripe served all night and of course Jamaican cuisine coming out of the world-class kitchen, like Beef Patties and Sorrel.
