The final live concert of reggae legend, Robert `Nesta` Marley, is set to hit stores next month.
Marley fans will be able to obtain the special double CD in eco-friendly packaging on a limited regional release through Tuff Gong Distribution on September 23, 2010.
The CD captures Marley`s last concert at Pittsburgh`s Stanley Theatre on September 23, 1980, where the late reggae legend urged all to Get Up, Stand Up, and they responded loudly with `wo yo yo yo.` Later they discovered they had witnessed history as it was in fact Bob`s last performance as Marley passed away on May 11, 1981.
Live Forever encapsulates the energy of that performance through the original live recording, captured on tape by Marley`s engineer Dennis Thompson.
The album also includes live renditions of: `Uprising,` `Coming In From The Cold,` `Work,` `Zion Train,` `Redemption Song` and `Could You Be Loved.` The entire concert, from his opening song to the final applause, spans the special double album.
