Bunji Garlin heads to Florida this week following his whirlwind Texas trip for South By Southwest. After listing Garlin as one of the must-see acts at SXSW 2014,  Rolling Stone selected his performance as one of the best things they saw at the music festival. The Viking of Soca brought “the music and energy of Trinidad up to Austin,” according to Rolling Stone.

Now, Bunji Garlin spreads his Carnival spirit to the U.S. Southeast. On Fri. March 21, he will meet and greet fans at VP Records Retail In-Store in Miramar and then perform at Café Iguana in Pembroke Pines to celebrate the 10th anniversary of King Waggy Tee’s Bashment Explosion program on Miami’s urban radio powerhouse WEDR 99 Jamz.  On Sat. March 22, Bunji (and his wife and soca star Fay Ann Lyons) will also make an appearance at Okayplayer Largeup’s Winter Music Conference event after his autograph session at Reggae Runnins Variety Store (1059 Collins Ave) in South Beach. Bunji will also be making station visits to WMIB 103.5 The Beat, WPOW Power 96, and MIXX 96.  OnMonday March 24, he will team up with 93.3 FM’s The Beat in Jacksonville, FL and then venture to Atlanta for additional promo activities with the top-rated radio station V103. Bunji is supporting his explosive crossover single “Differentology (Ready for the Road)” and new EP Carnival Tabanca.
