Staff WriterCanadian Jamaican Medical Assistance Society (CJMAS) is planning a Walkathon at Central Park in Burnaby on September 26, 2004 from 9 AM – 1:00 PM to raise funds to help build and equip two new operating rooms and an eight-bed Intensive Care Unit at the University Hospital of the West Indies, Mona, Jamaica (UHWI). Our goal is to raise $200,000.00 CAD! Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated and for any donation over $20.00 a tax receipt will be issued.
