Caribbean Sunshine bakery will celebrate its 20thAnniversary Extravaganza on Labor Day, September 3rd, at Festival Field in Orlando. Stitchie, Sanchez, ShanTai and Angela “Angel in zion ” Gordon-Kelly. Joining in the celebration are 506 crew with Tony Blair and Danabello, cry peace. The list of DJ’s to highlight the event will bring out the best from Kevy Kev, Qupid Reggae, ClintDawg, and Dod Irie.

Cornerstone University of Florida, Caribbean American Passport Newspaper along with POWER 95.3 fm, are honored to host this monumental event. New Hope Chiropracticand Wellness Center will be on hand to offer medical assistance to those seeking attention.

There will be patty eating contests, a children’s village with bounce houses and a massive electric slide dance event. Most people don’t know that Jamaican Marcia Griffiths wrote the song Electric Boogie that the Electric Slide is performed to. This is slated to be the ultimate anniversary celebration for Central Florida and it will hopefully live up to the name “Family Ties” as they celebrate the unity of“Caribbean Sunshine”.

Peter was born in Jamaica but lends himself as a citizen of the entire Caribbean . The visitors to the restaurant seem to have a connection with him and they ask for him quite often or when they don’t have enough money. He prides himself on the fact that his parents are good cooks and it runs in his blood. You can see the joy on his face when he speaks about making a delivery of bread to an event and how important it is to get it there on time. He wears a chef’s hat which shows that he is the “chief cook and bottle washer around there”. It appears that the customers, locals and tourists alike, all enjoy the good wholesome food with the exotic Jamaican flavor.

$1.00 from every entry ticket sold will be given to the Hope For Danielle Fund in what promises to be a long list of upcoming events in the Caribbean Community that have pledged their support of the teen shot in Pine Hills.

This event promises fun for the entire family with activities for all ages throughout the day.
