The next Caribbean Christmas dinner party will be held on December 11, 2010. To follow tradition, we have to ensure the party is a grand success!!! As such, this year we plan to include an exciting “Island Dance Off” competition where members from different island will compete with each other. The island who has the best dancer(s) will be crowned “Dancing Dynamites” and will hold that title for a year.

Let’s all come together to make this a grand success. We will need:
1. Your participation-  Please come out and be a part of the competition.
To make this fun we would like at least 1 person from each of the islands.
2. Music- If you have any music you would like to see included in the competition please submit it to me by December first.

Dance Off Format:
We have 2 suggestions. Please write back and tell me your preference.
Option 1. Competitors from each island set their own schedule and meet together to practice their dance to specific songs they would like to dance. On the the day of the competition they will dance specifically to those songs.
Option 2: On the night of the party the DJ plays selected songs and the competitors free dance to the song that is being played.

Judging:
The winners will be based on crowd response. The dancers who get the loudest applause wins.
