As we have been informed over the weekend and during the course of this week; Mr Sydney Brown of CSC suffered a traumatic injury which could mean total loss of his eye. This is no doubt a huge blow to the CSC Family, his loved ones and GSCL.
As a result, the Outreach Committee of the GSCL is accepting monetary donations from all Member Clubs to assist with Sydney’s medical expenses. Donations can be collected by representatives of each club and made on behalf of the club to the GSCL Treasurer (William Cole).
Sydney was the League MVP in the inaugural season of the GSCL and has been one of the ‘Gentlemen of the game’. Please share this with friends and other members not included in this email list. Let us show our support and appreciation for Sydney and make contributions accordingly.
