Caribbean Events This Week

The Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce of Florida, Inc. (CACCF) is preparing to host their 20th Anniversary Gala at Downtown Orlando’s most elegant venue, The Ballroom At Church Street.  The Ballroom is noted for both its ambiance and old world elegance.  CACCF members will serve as hosts for an evening that promises a journey of the Caribbean region through culture, fashion and music throughout the night at this glorious celebration.

The planning committee is made up of a diverse group of people that have assisted with the coordination of some of the biggest events in Central Florida’s Caribbean Community.  These members are putting their talents together to make this event a Caribbean Extravaganza!  The Committee’s Chairperson is Mrs. Sandra Fatmi, who recently chaired the Jamaican Association’s Gala.  The other members of the Committee include Val Duncan, a member of the Grenadian Ball’s Planning Committee; Sam Roberts, Chairperson of the Guyana Association’s Annual Ball; Creig Comacho of Coco Bean Productions; Guenet Gittens-Roberts, Program Director of the Caribbean American Business Expo 2006-2009; Andre Allong, Chairperson of CACCF’s annual “Christmas on Steel Drums” event; Dahlia Hayles of Pre Paid Legal; Ron Roach of Darden Restaurants; Sarah Ramlochan, Marketing Coordinator; and Carol Singh, President of CACCF and coordinator of the AGE Annual Tea Party.  The 20th Anniversary Gala dinner and entertainment extravaganza will be held Saturday, September 25th 2010 and is intended to be a premier social event in downtown Orlando!

Tickets are $65.00 per person and can be purchased by preference.  This will allow guests to sit at tables hosted by any CACCF member of their choice, each representing a wide array of business and experience within the community.  Businesses that purchase an entire table with an executive will be recognized in event publications and during dinner.  CACCF President, Mrs. Carol Singh stated “This is an exceptional opportunity for CACCF members to further develop strong cooperative relationships with the business community in a social setting.  Additionally, those who purchase an entire table will have the advantage of having the executive all to themselves!”

CACCF will also be honoring our sponsors, honorees and table hosts on this auspicious night.
