Coconut Creek, FL September 19, 2005 Strategic Security Planners, Limited Company, a Florida based Caribbean owned company which works extensively throughout the region, today announced the launch of the first ever Caribbean Speakers Bureau specific to the region and featuring experts, scholars and other professionals..

According to the company’s Marketing Representative, Ms. Pauline Ford-Caesar: The Caribbean is a diverse and vibrant region with it’s own history, culture, politics and world view, Strategic Security Planners sees the launch of the Speakers Bureau as a new way of diversifying their portfolio of services, while providing a unique opportunity to expand the knowledge and understanding of the people of the
Caribbean.

At present there is a movement underway in Congress, spearheaded by Representative Barbara Lee of California to name the month of June, Caribbean-American Heritage Month, Ms. Ford-Caesar believes with the passing of the amendment, will also come the need for a roster of Caribbean nationals who can articulate authentic viewpoints from the region.

Some of the speakers who have already signed on with SSP include, author Joanne Simpson, theologian and author Dr. Noel Erskine and former Jamaican Ambassador to the UN Curtis Ward. SSP’s new outreach has received ringing endorsements from many within the Caribbean community, who have expressed their satisfaction that the voices speaking on behalf of the region will be knowledgeable and credible.
