This year’s carnival theme, “It’s Yours, It’s Mine, It’s Carnival,” highlights the Caribbean community’s ethnic and cultural diversity.  The carnival celebration kicks off at 12 pm with the Parade of Bands. The parade will begin on West Peachtree Street at the Civic Center Marta Station and conclude in the Sweet Auburn district.  Historic Auburn Avenue will be transformed into Festival Village, where attendees can experience the sights, sounds, and food of the Caribbean. More than 20,000 people are expected to attend the festivities.
