THE CITY OF MIAMI, MTV TEMPO AND MIAMI CARNIVAL INC. KICK OFF 21ST ANNIVERSARY OF MIAMI CARNIVAL AND THE LAUNCH OF MTV TEMPO CARIBBEAN CHANNEL AT A PRESS CONFERENCE OCTOBER 7TH, 2005 AT MARGARET PACE PARK

WHO: The City of Miami, Mayor Manny Diaz, MTV Tempo, and Miami Carnival Inc. have joined together to highlight the 21st Anniversary of Miami
Carnival that will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2005 and the launching of MTV Tempo.

WHAT: Press conference to kick-off a celebration that brings together South Florida’s multi-ethnic community to experience a unique cultural
tradition known as Miami Carnival. Various local and international music bands, steel bands and local business vendors will provide live
music, arts & crafts, authentic Caribbean foods and drinks.

WHEN: Friday, October 7th, 2005 at 10:30 am
