Reggae super-group Chalice is ready to rock patrons at “Chalice Live in Concert” on Friday, December 23rd, at Redbones Blues Café in New Kingston. Joining Chalice will be US based singer/songwriter/producer Henry “Sadiki” Buckley, Jr., whose international lovers rock album “Lifeline” spent 3 weeks at the #1 and #2 spots on the Weekly Star and NY Top 30 Reggae Charts earlier this year.
Chalice, is widely known for their high energy performances and hits which include “Good To Be There”, “I Still Love You”, “Stew Peas” and “Revival Time”, so patrons should expect nothing less at this Chalice end of year ‘bashment’. Lead singer Dean Stephens said, “We loved the vibes at our first show at Redbones, so we can’t wait to do this one. I’m also thrilled about having a toy drive linked to the concert, it makes it a much more worthy venture for us.”
After more than 30 years, Chalice has become an institution within the reggae industry. A new management deal signed earlier this year with The Skinny Bwoy Agency, has helped to move the group back into the spotlight locally and has started a new wave of interest on the international scene.
