I am writing a list of things
only thing, the paper is blank
trying to come up with many things
I need that God has not provided
for me.

Dear Santa, like beautiful ornaments
under the huge Christmas tree,
a steady place to live, jobs, food on my
plate everyday, when I am hungry
beautiful clothing dress for a dance,
wedding and/or romance—-
family gathering on special day, moments
like Christmas and the special presents
under the great Christmas tree
I dream for a big kid that looks
somewhat like me.

Dear Santa, I am writing a list of things
that I think/I know I need like laughter
joy, peace, health and goodwill to all mankind.

Dear Santa, I am writing a list of things
that I think/I know maybe I have missed like
truly you blessing the community with
your colorful presence, jolly laughter,
filling the world with your magical love
your magical touch.

Dear Santa, I am writing a list of things
that I wish I could have/would have
needed, only thing is I cannot come up
with anything that the presence of the Lord
has not provided for a joyful woman like me
For when I think of the love of Jesus
I truly believe that you will make Christmas
a sweet journey for all including me.
