A large New York contingent of track & field enthusiast inclusive of Team Jamaica Bickle CEO Irwine Clare is currently in Jamaica to attend this year’s ISSA Boys & Girls Athletic Championships at the National Stadium in Kingston.

Aside from attending the championship, the Diaspora contingent will visit a number of tourist attractions across the island and attend the recently launched ‘Pot Of Gold After Work Linkup’ which will host a special ‘After Champs Party’ this Friday at 2 Chelsea Ave in New Kingston. “Our mission to visit Jamaica this time is to attend ‘Champs’ and to unveil plans for Team Jamaica Bickle’s involvement at Penn Relays 2018 in Philadelphia; We also plan to support Richie’s Pot of Gold After Work Party this Friday. Richie is a philanthropist who has a long history of supporting civic, social, athletics and recreational projects in Jamaica. He is a past president of the Royalty Track Club in Kingston and recently assisted his alma mata, the Godfrey Stewart High School Alumni Association (Canada chapter) raise funds for renovation to the bathroom facilities at the school,” Clare said.

The ‘Pot of Gold After Work’ party series was official launched in February. The party starts at 6pm and goes until 1am. Music is provided by music magician, Krazy Kriss who plays the best vintage music from the 80s, 90s, to the hottest reggae and dancehall tracks of the day.

Stephens, said he saw a need for an ‘afterwork party’ that caters to patrons looking for an early event where they can have fun.

“This party was designed for the after work crowd and those looking to party at an early event” Stephens said.

“Reggae Queen Marcia Griffiths was here for the first time last Friday. She had a grand time and said she will be back. My friend Bounty Killer has been a staple here every week since we started. TV personality Winford Williams, has been here while singjay Gentleman blessed us with his presence last Friday. DJ Wayne Marshall, Mr Vegas, Frisco Kid, Blakk Man and even record producer Donovan Germain stopped in and stayed until 1am. A friend of mine vacationing from Germany drove all the way from Negril to party with us. I am thankful for the support” the singer disclosed.
