The Digicel US$100,000 Bowl competition is down to the final stage with two customers from each participating market across the Caribbean moving through to the crucial voting round of the competition.

From the 26 remaining contestants, the two people who receive the most votes from the public will win an all expenses paid trip to the 4th Digicel ODI in Barbados on March 29th, where, during the lunch break, they will have two chances to bowl the middle stump at the Kensington Oval. The person who successfully bowls the middle stump will win a massive US$100,000 prize courtesy of Digicel.

Digicel’s Head of Sponsorship, Kieran Foley, said of the competition: “The aim of the Digicel US$100,000 Bowl is to help raise excitement and awareness for the West Indies team and cricket in general as they take on England in the Digicel Series 2009.

“There has been a fantastic response to the competition so far, and with 26 contestants through to the final stages of the competition, we are encouraging all West Indian cricket fans to log on to www.digicelcricket.com and vote for the two people they want to see bowl for US$100,000 at the 4th Digicel ODI in Barbados.”

The final 26 contestants hail from Anguilla, Antigua, Barbados, Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & the Grenadines and Trinidad & Tobago
