Recognised By Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica (PSOJ) As Leading the Way in Innovative & Creative Business Practices
KINGSTON, JAMAICA, July 27, 2006: Digicel Group, the region’s fastest-growing mobile telecommunications operator in the Caribbean, today announced that Digicel Jamaica has received the prestigious “Outstanding Innovation and Creativity” award for its cutting-edge products and services by the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica (PSOJ), the country’s premier business association. The accolades were presented at the PSOJ 30th Anniversary Award Banquet, which was attended by the Prime Minister of Jamaica and the Hon. Portia Simpson-Miller.
Digicel also won PSOJ’s Outstanding Member Company Award. The Caribbean company earned the accolade of Outstanding Member by ranking among the top 10 companies in Jamaica that support activities and programmes of the Private Sector of Jamaica.
