Digicel BlackBerry customers will be able to avail of up to US 100 worth of premium BlackBerry apps for free meaning they can enjoy an enhanced and more personalised BlackBerry service, it was announced today.
With free apps on offer from the likes of Gameloft, Electronic Arts, Shazam, iSpeech and Ice Cold Apps, Digicel BlackBerry customers will be able to experience a world of games, music and entertainment for free from the palm of their hand.
In addition, businesses that are BlackBerry customers will see an offer of one month of free RIM technical support.
The free app offer will be made available to Digicel BlackBerry customers in the next few weeks and customers will be contacted directly with details on how to access it.
The offer comes on the heels of last week’s BlackBerry service outage which saw many BlackBerry users suffering a loss of data and messaging services.
Brian Finn, Digicel Group Commercial Director, comments; “Digicel is committed to providing customers with the best service – and we would like to apologise to our valued customers for the inconvenience caused to them as a result of RIM’s service problems.
We trust that this gesture of goodwill to our customers goes some way to making up for the issues they experienced and would like to thank them for their continued loyalty to Digicel.”
