Director Seeks Stories From Jamaican On Colorism For Documentary

Spread the love

An award-winning feature film director is seeking to interview people of color who have been personally affected by colorism, which is when people from the same ethnic group judge one another in prejudicial or preferential ways due to differences in skin tone.

People chosen to share their stories will be featured alongside a select cast of internationally renowned thinkers, writers, actors, everyday people and cultural icons – everyone from Oscar-winning actor Lou Gossett Jr. to Chinese supermodel Du Juan, among many others.

Those interested in discussing how colorism impacts their lives are invited to contact Tristin Morton at [email protected] for more information.
