“Free up the man! A lot of people a kill people, nothing nuh new. Police a kill off the ghetto youth them like rice grain so know weh unuh a say,”  posted a man on Facebook reacting to the Vibz Kartel guilty verdict.  Another facebook user posted that the murder victim, Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams , was of no value because he was not from the Jamaican upper class.  The reaction of Jamaicans to the guilty verdict has been diverse however a trend seemed clear from many of the social media comments…many Jamaicans are desentized to murder.
