“Is that really Usain Bolt’s signature?” a guest asks as he points to the wall poster at the new Douglas Chiropractic Center in Coral Springs. Yes! In fact, Jamaican Olympic Team Memorabilia is everywhere, testament to Dr. Douglas’ work with the Jamaican Olympic track team for the past several years.
The occasion was a media reception, hosted by Dr. Michael Douglas on Tuesday, March 23, to unveil his third location, complete with an on-site laboratory for creating sports orthotics and arch supports. Located at 7901 W. Sample Road, Coral Spring, the new location is specifically designed to help people injured in accidents or people with pain in their lower back, hips, knees, and feet as well as athletes.
Present were Radio personalities from WAVS 1170 AM and WZAB 880 AM, Olympic sports legends, musicians and other performing artists. Dr. Douglas stated, “I am both happy and humbled by tonight’s turnout and look forward to continue working with the media and the Caribbean Community in general.” DJ Infantry hosted the “Feel Good Hour” live from the location as Dr. Douglas interviewed guests and staff present, giving the public a sense of what was happening at the reception.
