Soulful reggae singer Duane Stephenson is set to bring a live music feel to the innovative party series “U.B. Cruzin”™ set for Friday, November 30th on the Caribbean Queen.
The fifth installment of the party series, U.B Cruzin is staged on the luxury boat the Caribbean Queen, which sets sail from the Victoria Pier in Downtown Kingston promptly at 6 p.m. U.B Cruzin will feature Live Wyya and Duane Stephenson as you”™ve never seen them before. The two have been performing together across the globe this year and presents a well-rehearsed and energetic set to audiences.
No stranger to live band performances the August Town artiste is excited to exercise his sea legs for this staging the monthly series which is geared to pump life back into Downtown Kingston. The singer is known for songs such as August Town, Cottage in Negril and Better Tomorrow. Duane Stephenson creates music that uplifts and enlightens with a greater mission for the betterment of humanity, and forms a seamless symmetry with Roots Rock Reggae group Live Wyya, whose inspiration and objectives is to teach and educate the populace through their music.
Stephenson and Live Wyya Band return to the island on Wednesday, November 28 from tour and begin their preparations for the unplugged set on the seas.
U B Cruzin was founded in memory of the late Bunny Francis who envisioned U.B. Cruzin as an avenue to bring back life and activity to the Kingston Waterfront as it once was many years ago. The event is held on the last Friday of each month encouraging patrons to come out after work and take a relaxing sail with friends to great music. The promoter added, “we are committed to offering patrons a difference in entertainment for the season, this month we have a live Reggae Performance next month we present the best in 80’™s 90’™s music on December 28.”

Entry fee is only $500 for men, with ladies free and tickets can be purchased at the gate.
