Elasha Ministries, “Doings of God,” is an entity that seeks to enable and promote ministry through the arts. This ministry was established out of an intense desire to facilitate change in hearts and minds under the direction of the Holy Spirit. A vision that was shared among Christian friends came to fruition through an inspiration to minister the word of God through the arts. Made unique by the young, energetic, creative minds – Elasha Ministry provides a channel for the expression of talents including visual arts, singing, producing, dancing, sign language, drama, promoting and producing gospel music and the use of instruments.

With this mission in mind, the Ultimate Spring Break Experience, “Elasha Spring Fest” was born. The Jamaica Tourist Board endorsed Elasha Spring Fest 2011, is a weeklong event that will be held from March 6 – 12, 2011 at Traveller’s Beach Resort in Negril, Jamaica. The week’s activities will include the ministry day: distribution of Christian literature on the beaches and streets, painting and maintenance of institutions and feeding the homeless, Gospel Jazz and Blues featuring Dennis Rushton and Friends, Youth Extravaganza: Talent Showcase and Gospel Beach Party featuring Kevin Lewis from Mega Jamz 98 FM.

The week’s activities close with a GRAND GOSPEL CONCERT at Wavz Beach Negril on SATURDAY, MARCH 12, 2011 commencing at 3:00 PM. This event will feature performances such as DJ Nicholas, Jabez, Abigail Hamilton (U.S.A), De Warrior (Barbados), Ryan Hoppie (Guyana), Apostles Responsible for Ministering in Sign (A.R.M.S.), Joan Flemmings, along with other local gospel singers and worship leaders.
