Staff WriterWHO: The Atlanta Caribbean Carnival Bandleaders Association (ACCBA), the organizers of the Official Atlanta Caribbean Carnival 2009, in partnership with the Wyndham Garden Hotel and Baymont Inn and Suites.
WHAT: A press conference to announce the carnival parade route, festival village and events surrounding Carnival. There will also be a showcasing of bands costume and recognition of diverse community leaders who are instrumental in progressing the understanding, awareness and support of Caribbean arts and culture; activating the depth of the significance of the Atlanta Caribbean Carnival’s theme: “ONE FLAG“ Celebrating 21 Years.“ ACCBA will also be recognizing elected officails, most notably Atlanta City Council member Kwanza Hall. Kwanza Hall represents District 2 and is the official Atlanta Carnival 2009 Grand Marshall.
