Good times and good vibes are what patrons have come to expect at the annual International Wine Festival and this year the promoter, Carlos Daley, promises to triple the dosage. The festival is in its third year and promises to be bigger and better than the other two previous staging’s. The event is planned and executed with the objective to satisfy the growing fan base of wine lovers in Jamaica, but it also promises something for persons who may not be much of a wine lover; in essence the festival will be catering to everyone.
In order to ensure that Patrons have a satisfactory experience, the promoter has decided to move this year’s staging of the Festival to Secrets hotel Sea wind club in Montego Bay Jamaica. The event will span over two days, Friday August 2nd and Saturday August 3rd, 2013. The International wine Festival is a very therapeutic event, one that always leaves patrons wanting more. In order to satisfy the patrons every need Carlos Daley has decided to do the event in two days as opposed to one.
The Friday will feature a wine and food pairing event/wine tasting with a well renowned wine connoisseur from Miami in attendance. This will allow patrons to sample some of the world’s best wines and spirits from local and international purveyors, and get tips on how to pair their wines with their meals. As usual the festival boasts a stellar entertainment line-up, which includes the likes of E-tana, the strong one and the melodious Ikaya.
Etana will be the act to see on the opening night, the ever-so-talented songstress Etana “The Strong One” promises a great show and is expected to give patrons a night to remember. The artiste is known for hits such as ‘Wrong Address’, ‘Warrior Love’ ‘I am not afraid’ among many others, is currently on her ‘BETTER TOMORROW SUMMER 2013 TOUR’ in the United States. The energy from this tour is expected to be transferred to the Wine Festival when she performs on Friday August 2nd.
