Season Two of IN THE DANCE, presented by LIME and BlackBerry, comes to an end this Friday on TVJ, but the producers are promising the most explosive episode to date, complete with a “best of” motif.
Associate and Talent Producer of the show, Odessa Chambers said that the show would be looking back at the season that was and featuring the “best of all our segments”.
“It’s our final show, and its’ been a long journey to get here. So we’re going to be reflecting a bit and looking back at the best of season two of IN THE DANCE presented by LIME and BlackBerry and some of our best moments,” she said.
With the season ending, the show will also be presenting its most intense and exciting dance clash to date, and Chambers took the opportunity to announce prizes for the winners of the dance clash. On Friday, three dance crews will give it their all to become the IN THE DANCE dance clash champs. The three crews are MOB from Maxfield Ave, Kingston, Shady Squad from Portmore and Supreme Blazers from Portland.
“These three crews are truly talented dancers from different walks of life, who are passionate about dance and the culture. Judging will be done by their own peers on the show so they will really have to bring it! she says.
Each dancer in the crew that wins the LIME-BlackBerry dance clash will walk away with: a BlackBerry 8520 smartphone; five pairs of PUMA sneakers; a weekend vacation at the Sunset Jamaica Grande hotel inclusive of a 1 day pass to Chucka Caribbean adventures. Winners will also get cash in on one meal per week for an entire three months courtesy of Mothers.
IN THE DANCE airs on Television Jamaica on Friday’s at 9:30pm, and is also aired in the region. In fact, it is the regions’ only syndicated television programme, airing in markets such as Trinidad, Barbados, The British Virgin Islands, St Maarten, St Vincent, St Lucia, Grenada and more.
IN THE DANCE currnetly is being translated to French to facilitate airing on Trace TV in France, the country’s second most popular television station, and through that deal IN THE DANCE will air throughout Europe, Africa, Asia and the French Caribbean.
