“Fashion On The Beach” Debuts During Miami Fashion Week, March 20, 2009, Miami

Exclusive designs from top United States and Jamaican designers will hit the runway at the first staging of “Fashion on the Beach” during the 11th annual Miami Fashion Week, Friday, March, 20, 8:00pm  at the prestigious Clinton Hotel in Miami Beach.

Scheduled during the week of the country’s largest public display of fashion, “Fashion on the Beach” will highlight swimwear, fall/winter fashion, and eveningwear powered by Keneea Linton Designs who has produced wardrobes for Miss Jamaica Universe, Miss Jamaica World 2008, and Caribbean Fashion Week. Also scheduled to appear are Veneno Designs- a brand that “speaks sexy, sassy, chic and sheer sophistication,” from Alabama, Posche Designs from Jamaica among others.

“Fashion on the Beach” is expected to gain enormous support from a hip, young, trendy audience as well as media houses from around the world. President and CEO of Syngen Magazine and Vibezz Television, Maurice “Kelly” Tucker, who is spearheading the event says the display of fashion promises to be both elegant and exciting. “We are pulling out all the stops to make sure that this show becomes an annual event. Fashion plays a major role in the entertainment industry and more so everyday life; therefore we wanted to help celebrate this art form during the most exciting fashion event in the United States.”

Following the energetic display of fashion, the official after party will continue at the same location (Clinton Hotel- 825 Washington Ave., Miami Beach-33139) until 5:00 am.
