Come celebrate with the Reggae Boyz
The dancehall and fashion flavours of Jamaica will blend in the UK on Saturday, June 3 to celebrate the Reggae Boyz in Manchester, England in an after-party session. Noted dancehall artiste, Wayne Marshall headlines an exciting line up of artistes; while Pulse International – featuring stunning models with world-class couture lines, will hit the runway at the same event. This is scheduled for the Imperial War Museum, North, in Manchester.
Among the models to hit the runway are Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model, Carla Campbell; International Banana Republic Campaign girl, Nadine Willis; Miss Jamaica Universe, Cindy Wright and Jaunel McKenzie. Designers to be featured include Mutamba, Uzuri, Moncrieffe and Wright Style. Romae Gordon heads the delegation from Pulse International.
The event dubbed “A Creative Mixer – the After Party” is being hosted by JAMPRO’s Film, Music and Entertainment Commission in association with the Jamaica Football Federation. The Creative Mixer is a fundraising event with proceeds to go towards Jamaica’s national football programme.
Members of the National Football Squad will make an appearance at the event which has a cover charge of £30. Patrons will receive an all-inclusive package which includes cocktails, and entertainment.
“It will be an exciting event, noted Del Crooks, JAMPRO’s Film Commissioner, adding that the Creative Mixer is also being used to showcase the various elements of Jamaica’s creative industries.
The Creative Mixer will also feature a display of Jamaican Art and Craft; Music and an auction of Jamaican football jerseys signed by members of the Reggae Boyz Team as well as other prizes and surprises.
