If you are a parent, guardian, friend or if you’ve any contact with children in your immediate circle, here’s an event for you both to attend.

Jamaican born children’s entertainer Rankin Don aka “FATHER GOOSE” will be performing alongside the other members of Dan Zanes & Friends this weekend, Sunday, July 22nd, 2007 in Prospect Park, Brooklyn. Showtime is 5pm SHARP!!!!!

Rankin Don transcended into the Children’s Entertainment arena and has been performing as “Father Goose” for the past six years. In his adaptation of “Father Goose” he’s able to personify the calm non-threatening effect of the children’s television character Mr. Rogers while fusing together the playful contagious rhythms of reggae, rap, folktale, calypso, pop and traditional children’s music. A proven multi-talented entertainer, Rankin Don performing as “Father Goose” has breathed fresh air into the children’s music scene by letting children enjoy nursery sing-along and their parents/family members reminisce about their own childhood melodies. The staple factor of “Father Goose’s” performance is to insight tremendous audience participation so everyone gets in on the act with lots of playing, singing and dancing.

So bring the children and enjoy a fun-filled relaxing sunny Sunday evening in the Park. No cover charge required but donations welcome……TELL A FRIEND…..

Rankin Don’s long awaited “Father Goose” album will hit stores this coming fall 2007. You can log onto www.myspace.comfathergooseent for music and further album news as well as upcoming tour dates and performance locations in cities near you.
