Staff WriterYesterday Karamanti shared the official video for her song “It’s Up To You,” which is featured on her recently released album “Hurt People.” The visuals were strategically released at this time in an effort to combat the ongoing domestic violence cases happening across the island. Since December 31st, the murders of three women, all with their lovers implicated, have made headlines.
Karamanti wanted to take this opportunity to encourage both women and men, who are in abusive relationships to get out now while they still can. The very graphic images in the video tells the story of a jealous, abusive, insecure husband who consistently beats his wife.
