The wildly popular event Fetish is set for an epic, star-studded return after a four year hiatus from the party calendar. Set for March 25 inside New Kingston’s entertainment epicentre, The Building, Fetish is “back with a bang and it’s bigger and better than ever before.”
That’s the word from promoter of the event, Shelly-Ann Curran. Curran added that Fetish is back because “really and truly, party goers have been asking for it”.
The event was established in 2003, and has had a steady following of around 2000 people.
“Those people and other people who have heard about Fetish have been waiting for a while for the experience to return to Jamaica’s party scene,” remarked Curran.
“People have been on me, ‘Shelly, you not keeping Fetish again’ or ‘Shelly, when are you coming back with Fetish’, so I know the support is want for the party is there, and come March 25 we’re making the return of the decade,” she continued.
She’s already selected ace music masters DJ Bambino and DJ Kruddy, with a final addition to me made shortly. The kicker, however, is the theme of the event.
“Fetish has always been a place where you’re expected to really and fulsomely express yourself. It is an event where the music and vibe brings out your wild side, and if it didn’t – well, you’d be the odd one out. Even stars party hard, and forget that they’re stars,” a visibly excited Curran said. For this staging the event will be embracing the theme ‘High Definition’, and the promoter promised that “everything about the event will bring the idea and the theme across”.
“I’m not going to talk about everything just yet, but one thing is certain and that is that people are going to have a great time at Fetish on March 25”.
