Post: Fir again – Whyte elated with return

ALMOST lost in the euphoria of Novlene Williams-Mills’ emphatic victory in the women’s 400-metres race at the Jamaica International Invitational Meet at the National Stadium last Saturday was Rosemarie Whyte’s gallant second place finish.

The former national champion ran past three runners, including Americans Natasha Hastings and Sanya Richards, as well as Jamaican Kaliese Spencer, to clock a season-best 51.15 seconds in her second 400 this season. Read more >>
