The Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) will commemorate the 121st Anniversary of the birth of the Right Excellent Norman Washington Manley with a Floral Tribute and Civic Ceremony in Kingston and Manchester respectively.

A number of national leaders are expected to be in attendance. These include : their Excellencies, Sir Patrick Allen, Governor General and Lady Allen, The Honourable Robert Pickersgill representing Prime Minister, the Most Honourable Portia Simpson Miller and Mr. Pearnell Charles representing Mr. Andrew Holness, Leader of the Opposition. His Excellency Jose Tomas Ares German, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps is among the tribute layers in Kingston.  Minister of Youth & Culture, The Honourable Lisa Hanna will deliver the welcome and opening remarks.

Both ceremonies will feature performances by JCDC Festival of the Performing Arts awardees.
