The back-to-back 100m champion ran 10.70 at the National Trial in June and was certain that a time in the 10.60s was possible, she told the US’ PIX Morning News today.
It did not happen, as she ran 10.75 seconds to retain her Olympic title at The London Games.
Additionally, she said Jamaicans went to the Games with the intent to “go out with a bang” in their fiftieth year of independence.
