Fraser-Pryce should double up in Daegu

AS the days to the World Athletics Championships in Daegu, South Korea move apace, it has occurred to me that despite a number of world stars among us, it’s so easy for some to be overshadowed by the phenomenon called Usain Bolt.

However, rather than be preoccupied with that possibility, Jamaicans should bask in the awareness that barring unforeseen circumstances, this summer will see us parading four individual champions in their respective events. We refer to Bolt in the two shorter dashes; Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce in the 100 metres; Melaine Walker in the 400m hurdles, and Brigitte Foster-Hylton in the 100m hurdles. Read more>>
